Growing up with a grandmother who baked, sewed, knitted and gardened would always be an inspiration to a little girl. That inspiration started a dream which eventually became TCakes.

Owner and designer of TCakes, Teresa Gladwell, credits her grandmother and lifelong friends in achieving her dream.

As well as successfully completing City & Guilds in Sugarcraft Design, Teresa has competed in several competitions including the Salon Culonaire at Hotelympia, where she was awarded medals in her chosen class.

TCakes love of design has now spilled over into Cards, Cookies and Crafts enabling her to offer a comprehensive bespoke service to her clients.

In order for TCakes to offer such a service, Teresa trained with some of the best within their chosen field. These include the 'gift wrap' guru Jane Means and the floristry designer Jane Packer, where she has completed the career course at the Jane Packer Flower School.

"My dream was to produce a range of products that brings out the little girl in all of us. Giving you that feeling when you first walk in to a candy store or sitting surrounded by handbags & shoes! There is nothing as special as a fabulous pair of shoes or a product which has been handmade for you!"
